www.jaguarresearchcenter.com is another email used by Charles “The liar” Munn, he says that he runs a research project at Porto Jofre area with jaguars, according to the Brazilian laws no one runs such research without preview authorization issue by CENAP, he has no permission to do it.
I´m a reporter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I´m reporting about Mr. Charles Munn´s activities.
Is it really true that him was banned from Ecuador, charged of taking land of natives etc ???
Thanks a lot!

July 2008:
Hi There,
I´m a tour guide in the brazilian pantanal, I read your website and saw the information that you make clear you don´t support tropical nature. I read the transcriptions, I saw what I expecteed about Mr Munn. This man bought a lodge at Pixaim river in the pantanal and 4.000ha of land at Porto Jofre area. His agressive methods is covered of lies and non respect with local people. In the beginning Mr. Munn wanted to hire me to work with him, I did some work as guide but after seing his methods I realized that he is not a good person to walk around. In the pantanal he is not a welcome person even tourists from other countries say the same about him, we are trying to find a way to stop this man of buying land and increase his power in the area, after i saw your transcriptions, I thought if you have more information about his time there. We have to stop this liar, that use us and the people that invest money in conservation.
I would appreciate your help.
Sincerely,

May 2008:
I notice on your web site the disclaimer given that you are not associated with Tropical Nature. I clicked through to the summary of the events which began in 2006.
The same situation you describe is occurring in a nearby country. I am unfortunately familiar with Charlie Munn and how he exploits native communities.
I am hopeful you can provide me a contact to establish more information as to the sequence of events that resulted in your successful efforts to eliminate Tropical Nature from your project.
Our situation is critical and we must act quickly. Exploitation of the native community and theft of it's assets is at risk and happening as we speak.
Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. We would like to understand how you were able to work so quickly with the Government of Ecuador to get them out. We have been fighting for a very long time now, and with the massive corruption we are failing badly.
Sincere Regards,
Sher Holms.
